#5: Onwards to 2026
2025 is pretty much hours away from being over here in the lands of Roman (and probably elsewhere too, I don't know, I don't keep up with the timezones of island nations and territories in Oceania to know (actually by the time I finish writing this, Kiritimati would've already entered 2026, maybe)), and I thought I'd revive my blog section on the forums to talk a bit about how 2025 was for me, both when it comes to Marble Blast adjacent stuff (Community & Game) and when it comes to my real life...(read the rest on marbleblast.com)
#4: (Almost) one Decade of Connie in the (Marble Blast) Community
Partially inspired by Chris/Nockess' 10 year anniversary blog post, I decided I'd write something for that too, even if there's still half a year to go until the 10th year anniversary of my MBForums Account. It's honestly crazy to think that I've spent close to 10 years in this community, and around ~15 years playing this game. I think what hits me the hardest is realizing that, while I grew up, I also watched this game and the community grow up alongside me, or I could even say blossoming in a way... For those who don't know, I grew up a pretty irrelevant, small city in Romania. The way these types of cities work - not just my small irrelevant city - managed to create a pretty bad environment for me, even if it took me a while to realise it, and the reasons for the environment of the city not being good for me were plentiful...
